![]() sims 2 stuff worth checking out: left - amazing rugs by kaputt geliebt right - equally amazing house, so muchhhh colorrrrr.. by owls-are-not Pssstt... I just saw this Bollywood song from the 80s to cheer me up; maybe you should do the same. 'Tirchi Topiwale' literally means 'man with a slanted (or placed at an angle, but that sounds like a mouthful) hat'. Part Indiana Jones meets tacky jungle meets Arabian Nights meets Bollywood sleaze. Just don't come wanting to kill me later.. all I know is that it never fails to make me happy. And the girl is hot. On the off-chance that your ears don't bleed, feel free to ask for lyric translations. Labels: non-download, obsessing leave a comment? (

1. larry climbs into his lawn chair waves her goodbye unties from the post races towards the sky takes a sip out of his beer and says it looks amazing HERE is the song made of absolute win.. esp. when it transitions around 1:46. p.s.: Larry Walters is my hero (: 2. the road virus heads north is a short story by stephen king. it talks about a painting that a writer purchases at a garage sale, only the painter is dead and had a rather troubled past. slowly thing begin to unravel in the writer's life as the painting begins to change.. i'm biased because i'm a king fan, but this is a great story nonetheless. you can almost picture the garrish neon-tinted painting he describes in this story. what's your current favorite song? what book are you reading right now? So what if I've stayed up all night and built a layout, even though I only modified parts of an existing base code. So what if ironing out kinks took an hour each. So what if this is fast turning into a rant post.It does not matter because my game is all in order, I have stuff packs that I did not even consider before, and I am itching to create things. I have comments enabled per post!! And I think peace and unrest has been online for a year, give or take a couple of months. This calls for a celebration. Ok, I understand that this post is merely a filler because I was excited and I needed to do something, make some sort of a mark for this... newness? But be sure to check back real soon. (: P.S. Is it just me, or has tinypic recently gotten more annoying than usual? Is there a better free image host you would recommend? Labels: obsessing Friday, January 8, 2010
![]() [L to R] 1. just purchased today! very cool, dark stuff. 2. hurray for indie game companies - I can't solve the puzzles in machinarium to save my life, but maybe I alone am to blame for my stupidity. 3. the houses by this dreamwidth user!! asdjkfg I stalk and I let out fanboy gasps every few scrolls downward. There is always a bunch of things I seem to like at a particular point in time - be it a week or two weeks, maybe longer. Yes, I go through phases. It is only fitting that there should be some not-so-frequent posts about these obsessions.book. Margaret Atwood's Moral Disorder has to be the best book I have read this year. She has a really cool, detached yet benign/soft way of writing about her characters. FF theme. I should probably become a salesman for Firefox; it is my favorite browser and I keep raving about it. This theme just made it 10 times sweeter to look at [still haven't given up on sweet ;)] music. Band of Horses makes wicked indie whiney music. They have great vocals with sublime music, and this is my current favorite song. Labels: i have a life outside the sims, obsessing |
