 The title of this post is not an allusion to me going anywhere or abandoning the Sims completely. It's just a reference to the span of frikking time I take between updates. I have a job now, and play the games lesser and lesser frequently. So no new stuff. What I did discover, however, was a couple of old furnished houses which I might possibly take screens of and post here. No new downloads, just more pictures; IMO the blog equivalent of a newspaper fluff piece. What have we been reduced to guys? I hope you all have a great new year, be safe and stay warm, drink too much and pass out indoors. Girl in Byakkoya (Paprika OST) Made a little house in the Sims 3... with, might I add, a surprising amount of ease. Projects were never this easy to finish, once started, in the Sims 2. This is a house I've been working on for the last couple of weeks. The actual structure itself is by Selenaq13 - for her buildings are tastefully constructed, and I cannot build to save my life. I merely furnished the 3 interior levels/ scant landscape.I need feedback, obviously. In case you want to know where a particular object is from (that's WCIF for the rest of you) feel free to ask via comment but please don't ask me to put the entire house up for download, as it was created by Selenaq13 (link above). Some are recolors of mine and I have a mind of releasing them in the future anyway. Oh and don't forget to click 'Read More' to view the entire post.  sims 2 stuff worth checking out: left - amazing rugs by kaputt geliebt right - equally amazing house, so muchhhh colorrrrr.. by owls-are-not Pssstt... I just saw this Bollywood song from the 80s to cheer me up; maybe you should do the same. 'Tirchi Topiwale' literally means 'man with a slanted (or placed at an angle, but that sounds like a mouthful) hat'. Part Indiana Jones meets tacky jungle meets Arabian Nights meets Bollywood sleaze. Just don't come wanting to kill me later.. all I know is that it never fails to make me happy. And the girl is hot. I am not the most practical of builders, nor are my house layouts anything more than a few boxy structures piled together. Still I have fun when I make a house and I try to look at all the possibilities that can make a house more real - personal touches with various scattered personal artifacts, all thanks to the object creators. A hairbrush here, a baseball there. What I'm talking about is trying to give a house some personality.Here's a small city house that is supposed to look like it would belong on any busy street of Japan. Hopefully more to come from this same hypothetical street. ;)      nevermind the sim; he likes to sleepwalk / act generally creepy after dark.  upstairs..   and there he goes again.
